Burton Wells Senior Center
stand alone building was constructed next to and connected by a covered walk an existing county recreational complex. The new building´s colors match the existing colors and finishes with other similarities such as a split-face cmu (with accent banding), a metal roof with brackets at the eave and deep overhangs. Large areas of insulated glass on the north side were installed to allow light and view of the woods into the building. There are exposed roof joists inside with sloped ceilings and acoustical decking and acoustical panels on the walls. It is also a multi-purpose room (97 persons at table), catering kitchen, men´s and women´s toilets, and has a mechanical mezzanine.
